Right now, we’re searching for a Head of Corporate Communications in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
As Head of Corporate Communications you will be responsible to lead, drive and develop Viaplay
Groups Corporate Communications in line with the company´s short and long term strategy. You
lead a team of three senior communication managers and you have a close collaboration with
regional PR & Communications teams. As a leader you manage and development personnel ensuring we are efficient and productive yet maintain a healthy work-life balance.
You work in close corporation with the CEO and CMCO. You are an active and collaborative member of the Marketing and Communications Management team. Budget responsibility; plan, track and review. You report to the CMCO.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Create annual road map for corporate messaging and visibility in relevant media. Update on quarterly basis – all in close liaison with CEO and CMCO.
Ensure quarterly and annual reports are communicated in a structured way to the market.
Creating a positive, forward leaning and trustworthy image of the company and in relevant trade media.
Crisis management when needed on a group level.
Provide media training and position select senior staff in relevant trade media and select events.
Oversee the management of Viaplay Group’s social account and corporate website
What we’re looking for
As Head of Corporate Communications you are an experienced and stable manager with the ability to create a confident and effective team. You thrive in a leadership role and have a passion for the craft of communication. You have solid experience in financial communication and crisis communication.
You are a skilled relationship builder and build strong relationships both internally and externally with the media, customers, and partners nationally and internationally.
You are confident, stand firm when the wind blows and have the ability to build trust. You are good at planning and delegating and are a person who has order and control of the situation, which creates the conditions for your business to be proactive.
We think you have a can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others.
